This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out rules for using the Smart Door platform ("Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service.
You agree not to: - Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, harassment, stalking, or surveillance of individuals without consent - Use call masking or number-routing features to deceive, scam, or defraud visitors or callers - Attempt to access another user's account, plate, or admin systems without authorization - Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass rate limits, RLS policies, or PIN lockout protections - Upload abusive, threatening, defamatory, or illegal content via voice notes, visitor messages, or support tickets - Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) - Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including attempting denial-of-service attacks - Impersonate Smart Door staff or another user
As a nameplate owner, you are responsible for ensuring your use of visitor logging (photos, voice notes) complies with applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction, including obtaining any consent required for recording visitors at your property.
Voice note storage, AI message summarization, and call routing are subject to fair-use limits described in your subscription plan. Excessive or automated use beyond normal household usage patterns may be rate-limited or flagged for review.
Violation of this AUP may result in: - Warning and required remediation - Temporary suspension of account or specific features - Permanent account termination for serious or repeated violations - Reporting to law enforcement where required by law
If you believe another user is misusing the Service, contact support@mysmartdoor.in with details.
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
